Busan, port city

I’ll start by apologizing for last week. For personal reasons, I was unable to continue my saga about my first trip to South Korea. Today, we are correcting the situation and without delay, here is the rest.

A quick reminder, my last article (which you can read here) was about my arrival in the large port city of Busan. The second largest city in the country of morning calm, it is often compared to the capital and regularly preferred by many tourists. The reasons are diverse, but we can try to see it together.

One of the elements that will interests you the most is the sea. Yes, Busan has many beaches right on the edge of the city. Due to its geographical position, spending autumn on its coasts is very pleasant: a little sea breeze to withstand the heat of the day and a romantic view to stroll along the seaside at the end of the evening.

But concretely, what did I do there? Like many tourists, I went to see very famous places. In the company of people I met in my guesthouse, I had the pleasure of visiting the village with colorful houses: Gamcheon Village. To visit the latter, you need a good pair of shoes, water and not to be discouraged by seeing the stairs. As a reminder, most of Korea is made up of micro mountain ranges. Finding flat land is like finding an oasis in the middle of the desert. Don’t hesitate to go there early in the morning, this way you avoid the crowds and it’s not yet too hot (even if it was mid-October).

Another tour that is sure to please sea lovers is to visit Little Greece. Walking along a coastline made up of white and blue houses, cute cafes with breathtaking views, not appreciating such a marvel would really be difficult.

For those who appreciate fresh fish, take a trip to the fish market! There are restaurants where you choose the fish directly from the aquarium and they prepare it for you straight away. It’s hard to get cooler. To tell you the truth, I didn’t go there. I have the misfortune of being picky eaters. However, it was my roommates who told me everything after their lunch.

The article is already quite long for a repeat and I wouldn’t want to reveal everything to you right away. See you next week. This time, I promise, I won’t fail you!
